Meet Scott Tarbet

Scott Tarbet is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gibson Avenue Capital.

Prior to founding the firm in December 2017, Scott spent 11 years at a middle market private equity firm, Argonne Capital Group / RCG Ventures. Scott served as SVP Director of Acquisitions at RCG / ACG, where he was responsible for identifying, sourcing, and ultimately acquiring value-add single and multi-tenant opportunities on the West Coast and Southeast. In addition to acquiring assets, Scott was responsible for the sale/leaseback, disposition and portfolio lease management of ACG’s single-tenant operating portfolio with the primary task of maximizing real estate value by leveraging ACG’s ownership of various businesses.

Between RCG / ACG and Gibson, Scott has transacted on over $3.4Bn across ~130 investments.

Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Finance and a minor in Spanish. He lives in Atlanta with his daughters, Poppy, Georgie and son, Rowan.
